Anyone who wishes to share Hindu faith may become a member of the corporation. Membership of the Saratoga HinduTemple is open to all who are desirous of furthering the aims and objectives of the Saratoga HinduTemple irrespective of race, color, creed, nationality, sexual orientation or gender. Membership shall remain in effect, as long as the member remains in good standing as defined Sections 3.2, 3,3 and 4.6.
Life Time Members $100,000+
Life membership is open to an individual who pays $100,000 receipted. The life membership is also applicable to each member of this individual’s
direct family (spouse, son, daughter, parents). This amount is subject to change and it will be determined by the General Body of Trustees and Executive
Committee for the maintenance of the temple over the life time of the member and approved by GBM. The period of membership will be for the life time of the member and this is not transferable. The initial directors of the corporation are automatically conferred a Life Membership of this Corporation and the very same rules of a Life Member applies to them.
Eligibility of life members to vote is discussed in Section 4.6. All receipted payments made to SHTCC towards any services or donations will be considered towards membership. Annual and life members can request their contribution be treated as a private matter to the extent permissible by law.

Annual membership is open to an individual or a family who pays $500 (at the time of this writing) per annum receipted. This amount is subject to change and it will be determined by the General Body of Trustees and Executive Committee from time to time. The period of membership will be from January 1st to December 31st of each year. Eligibility of members to vote is discussed in Section 4.6. All receipted payments made to SHTCC towards any services or donations will be considered towards membership. SHTCC reserves the right to use the funds for the maintenance of the temple.
